Uses hot/cold as opposed to a mapped trail to guide you, which is more useful in a large parking lot than on a street. Setting a pin is automatic when the car comes to a stop. I launched it when I was home and it successfully pinned each of three stops I made running errand so I could navigate to my parked car each time, without having to set each pin manually. Only glitch I have found so far is that Help text shows up faintly on the high-resolution screen of the 6+.
BTW, dont expect millimeter accuracy from any GPS. I read somewhere that GPS accuracy is plus or minus 30 feet. Unless you are navigating to a transponder, the estimated distance to you car may be off some, but you will be able to see you car.
